William Alexander Moore – 82, closed his beautiful blue eyes for the last time on August 4, 2024, at his home in Middleboro. Born in Wallace Bridge, he was a son of the late Alex and Merle (Betts) Moore. Bill spent most of his life working as a truck driver and raising beef cattle on his farm. He loved Percheron horses, going on drives, telling stories and adding a whitty comment to any conversation. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne (Blades) Moore; children, Veronica Moore, Halifax, Juanita (Jason) Iceton, Lower Sackville and Adrian Moore (Kate Murray), Springhill; grandchildren, Cameron and Megan Iceton, Lower Sackville; siblings, Elizabeth McLean, Terrace Bay, ON, Faye Moore, Jack (Lorraine) Moore, Esther Moore, Kathleen (Orville) Blades, all of Middleboro; many nieces and nephews; his friend and work buddy, Danny MacLeod. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Grace Tuttle; brothers in law, Byron Tuttle and John McLean; niece, Patricia Briggs. The family would like to thank Dr. Shortt, Martha Ferguson, the Doctors and Nurses at B Wing, CRHCC Amherst and the VON who all provided such great care to Bill. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Chron's and Colitis Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
