Mitchell, William Andrew – 94, East Amherst, It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, on New Year's day. Born in Linden, he was a son of the late Joseph and Christina "Tena" (MacDonald) Mitchell. Bill lived in Woodstock, Ont., for 15 years moving back home due to his dad's poor health. He enjoyed many weeks at his cottage on Cloverdale Lane and Mitchell Island Dr. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, of East Amherst; daughter, Cathy Sangster, (Gary), Dartmouth; twin grandsons, Joe of Halifax and Chris (Ange) of Beaver Bank; step sons, Stephen Bird (Sandra), Paul Bird (Elaine); step daughter, Debbie Stokes (Gord), Donna O'Neill (Skip). Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Ramona (Campbell); sister, Evelyn McArthur. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mundle's Funeral, 204 Water St., Pugwash. There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be announced and held at a later date.
