It is with heavy hearts that the staff at East Cumberland Lodge announce the passing of beloved resident
James "Jimmy" William Morrow on June 27 th at 1900 hours, just as day shift was changing to night.
Jimmy had made his home at the Lodge since April of 2014.Little is known of Jimmy's life prior to his admission at ECL from the Kings Regional RehabilitationCenter. What is known, is that he possessed a kind and gentle spirit. People were drawn to him by his charm and when Jimmy laughed, we all smiled. He enjoyed ice cream and pop and he was never far from a radio. His life at the lodge was filled with love as he was nurtured by his fellow residents as well as by staff. "Little Jimmy" will leave as a legacy a reminder to us all that sometimes perfect souls live in imperfect
bodies. Rest well dear friend.
A service of remembrance for Jimmy will be held at East Cumberland Lodge at 1:00 on Thursday, July 6
officiated by Father Gregory Agyeman. All are welcome.
