Davis, William "Bill" John - 75, Bible Hill, passed away in Vimy Court, Bible Hill on May 2, 2026. Born in Oxford, he was a son of the late Raymond and Emma (Fage) Davis.

Bill started life living in logging camps as his Dad was a lumberman in different parts of province, then in 1954 he lived in East Mines. He began working at Butler Centre in 1973, then onto Colchester Community Workshop until his retirement in 2012. Bill participated in Special Olympics for many years and enjoyed summer camps in Canso and Paradise, making lots of friends all over province. His health decline in 2013 made a move to Vimy Court for special care necessary.

We would like to thank V.O.N., especially Connie Dawson for providing his home care for many years, as well as the Vimy Court staff. We will be forever grateful.

He is survived by brothers, Stanley (Ruth) Thompson, Amherst;  Robert (Gwen) Davis, Debert; sister, Elizabeth (Bruce) Macdonald, Bible Hill. He was predeceased by his sister, Helen Young; infant brother, James Davis.

Cremation has taken place in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. A private family burial will take place in Middle Road Cemetery, Debert.
