It is with broken hearts, we the family, announce the sudden passing of Vincent Pollard on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Born in Amherst, December 26, 1968, he was a son of the late Sonny and Beartha (Dobson) Pollard. In the early years Vince worked for Cumberland Paving but spent the bulk of his employed years at Canadian Salt. Vincent loved his children with his whole heart and was very proud to be their dad. He also enjoyed mowing the lawn to perfection (and racing the neighbours to the first mow), fishing whenever he could and of course his beloved Nascar. He will be loving remembered by Lisa and children, Wesson, Ashlea and Alli. He is also survived by sisters, Barb (Ron) Betts, Jean (Barry) Huston and Vicki Huston. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents Vincent was also predeceased by his sister, Wendy Dowe and brother Junior Pollard whom he looked up to immensely. A Celebration of Vincent's Life will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 2-4 pm at Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, with a private family burial to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK Health Foundation or a charity of your choice.
