During the early evening hours on March 2 nd, 2023 at the East Cumberland Lodge, mom peacefully took her last breath with our loving dad by her side to be reunited with family and friends that departed before her. Mom was born on January 18, 1953 in Pugwash to Doreen (Jamieson) and Arthur Pollard. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, our dad, Jack. They were married on July 23 rd, 1971, with family already underway with their oldest daughter Tabatha (Jared), who would try to ease the rules for her future siblings. One year and three days later along came Jackelyn (Kevin). Apparently two under two kept them busy and it was two years and four months later before Belinda Michelle (Curtis) was born. Mom was nan to Devin (Jackie), Jessica (Matt), Zach (Toni), Jordon, Brandon, Colby, and Stephanie; great nan to Serena, Chloe, Summer, Alexzandrea, Violet and Jaxzen; big sister to Eleanor (Ronnie), Debbie (Ross), Brenda (Jimmy) and predeceased by Dawn (Jim). Mom loved and was loved by many extended family and a butt load of friends. Mom followed many paths during her working years; she was a waitress, hairdresser, employed at the bowling alley, Seagull Pewter and did direct selling of Avon, Tupperware, a line of jewelry and toys once she had grandchildren. Mom loved animals and had many pets during her life. She enjoyed yard sales, bowling, darts, poker parties, bingo, horse races and spending time with her family and friends. There will be no services held at this time. We want to send out a very big thank you to the staff at the East Cumberland Lodge in Pugwash for looking after mom during these last few years.
