Saturday April 4th 8:30 p.m. - age 73, Tim Higgins passed away peacefully at the Colchester regional hospital. A loving father and devoted husband, he was surrounded by those he loved dearly. Tim was an exceptionally hard worker with exceptional carpentry skills. Dad's love of horses and all other animals was evident throughout his life. He was generous, kind-hearted and always wanted to help others. Tim leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Ellen (Blair), daughters, Tammy (Rob) Colter and Nicky (Jeff) Greenough; grandchildren, Thomas, Logan, Wyatt, Mason, Radex and Summer. Also mourning his passing are his loving sisters, Gloria (Murray Teepell), Sheila Higgins, Carla (William Sheehy), Donna (Donnie Smith), Darlene (Robert Pickles) and brothers Reggie and John; father-in-law, Walter Blair; sister-in-law, Stephanie Barnhill and many extended family members. Pre-deceased by his mother, Vera and his father, Carl; brothers, Darryl, Richard and Allison; sisters, Debbie (Milton Dean), Dixie and Linda (Edgar Moore), mother-in-law, Evelyn Blair. If so inclined, donations may be made to an animal rescue of your choice. Private family celebration to occur at a later date.
