Stiles, Stanley Rae – 89, Linden, passed away May 31, 2026, at the North Cumberland Health Care Centre, Pugwash. Born in Wyevale, Simcoe Co., Ontario, he was a son of the late Cecil and Annie (Blakney) Stiles. Stanley had served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 15 years before joining the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Halifax where he served as a technician, retiring in 1986. He and his wife Joan enjoyed and taught square dancing and loved spending their winters in Florida. Stanley was known as a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed doing his own repairs. He was an avid fisherman and liked to fly fish. He had a wonderful sense of humor and usually had a smile for everyone. Stanley was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife Joan (Budd) Stiles, Linden; daughters, Shirley (David) Varner and Sherry Westcott, all of Linden; son, Richard (Rena) Stiles, Amherst; grandchildren, Derek (Rebecca), Kenneth (Yvette), Keith (Eileen), Lindsey, Megan, Stephen (Samantha); great grandchildren, Hailey, Mya, Owen, James, Sydney, Nova; Mackenzie, Lauren,  Gabe, Relynn, Charlotte, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by siblings, Shirley Spencer, Myrtle Power, Russell Stiles, Lorraine Steeves. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
