Shirley Jean Keefe- 77, Tatamagouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family on August 30, 2022 in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.

Shirley was born in Indian Cove, Newfoundland on September 4, 1944 to the late John and Violet (Gosse) Mehaney.

She had a great zest for life, enjoyed having a good time and sharing laughs with those around her.

She is survived by her loving sons, Brian (Monic), Quebec, Glenn (Mark), Ontario; stepson, Dan MacIntosh, Tatamagouche; brothers, Cyril (Irene), Donald (Hilda) ; sisters, Goldie Watkins, Audrey Day all of Newfoundland; many nieces and nephews as well as many good friends in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland

Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her partner, Donald MacIntosh; former husband, Wellington Keefe; brothers, Bill and Harry; sister, Ruby Hann.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time. Burial will be held at a later date in Newfoundland.

A special appreciation goes out to Dr. Bush and the nursing staff at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of our mother as well as a special thank you to Norma MacKenzie and Eileen Taylor for their friendship and care.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
