The family of Sharon Aitken of Tatamagouche, NS, is saddened to announce her passing on Monday, August 11 at the age of 75 years.

Sharon will be fondly remembered by her brother, Phillip Aitken, sister Nancy Macquire-Lewis and sister-in-law, Hennie Aitken. She will be profoundly missed by Jennifer and her nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Didd's, as well as many other family members and friends.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary, brothers Steven and Michael, sister-in-law Judy and brother-in-law Raymond

Sharon was a proud Nova Scotian and she had a wonderful sense of humour. She enjoyed listening to fiddle music, coin and stamp collecting, photography and sending funny videos to her family in Ontario. She loved animals and found it impossible to turn away a stray cat.

At Sharon's request, no service will be held. Arrangements have been made with Coulter's Funeral Home and cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital. Martha, the positive impact that you had on Sharon cannot be measured. Thank you.
