Ryan Christopher McMullen passed Sunday, January 17th, 2021 following a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 37. Ryan will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his spouse and best friend, Kayla Reid; children, Claire McMullen (age 11) and Mason McMullen (age 4); father, Harry McMullen; mother, Wendy Harvie (Scott Wise); sister, Holly McMullen (Erik Scott); nephew, Landon Scott (age 11); grandparents, Earl McMullen; Kenneth and Gloria Harvie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and amazing friends. Ryan was a long time employee of Atlantic Chemex, he enjoyed traveling through the Maritime provinces for work. He took many beautiful photos on his travels; he loved nature and had an amazing eye for photography. Special thanks to Chris Casey and his co-workers for the continued support. Ryan was an exceptional father and fought through his disease to spend time with his kids. Ryan enjoyed hikes, bike rides, bonfires, camping, his Ford, Star Wars and PlayStation. Ryan was a long time car enthusiast, with a love of all things fast and on four wheels, starting with Mustangs and his memorable T-Bird. Special thanks goes out to all the car clubs that were able to show up and put a huge smile on his face.( CLICK HERE TO SEE THE CTV NEWS STORY ABOUT RYAN ) Thank you for your support and giving my family such a beautiful memory. We also want to send a special thank you to the nurses, VON and doctors who helped Ryan stay comfortable and treated us like family. Special thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and kind words. We are forever appreciative. A celebration of Ryan's life will be held in the Spring at our home, at his request. We will love you forever. We will never allow your memory to fade, you will live on through your beautiful children. You are a true inspiration and the strongest man I know. You're forever in our hearts, my love.
