Creighton, J. Ronald QC – Tatamagouche.  It is with great sadness we announce the passing of J. Ronald Creighton. Ron passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in his hometown of Tatamagouche on Saturday, August 7 ^th , 2021.  Born Sept 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Ian and Lois (MacKay) Creighton. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Valerie (Jamieson); his children, Ian, Erin, and John; his granddaughter, Emery; his sister, Carole.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracy; sister, Helen.  Ron wore many hats but was most proud of being a husband, father and grandfather. He loved his community of Tatamagouche and played many roles in it's development and growth. He was also a dedicated Liberal, Ford-lover and Nova Scotia's # 1 Green Bay Packer fan.  A private service will be held with live streaming of the service starting at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, August 11 ^th , 2021 on Coulter's Funeral Home website.  Memorial donations to Sharon United Church, Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation or a local charity would be appreciated.  A special thank you to the ICU doctors & staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, and to Dr. Dan MacDonald and staff at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.  Condolences can be forwarded to the family by visiting Coulter's Funeral Home website at: www.mmcfunerals.com
