He was a member and Past Master of Wimburn Lodge #75 AF & AM, Grand Registry of Nova Scotia.Roger was a longtime employee of Windsor Salt, where he worked as a controller - affectionately known as "the out of control controller."

Roger loved his Nova Scotia home where he grew up and spent as much time there as he could before and after retirement. He would sit on the verandah and wait for someone to turn up the lane for a visit. They always did.

Roger loved his family and friends, telling stories, playing cards, road trips, a good laugh, and the Broncos.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm  with a Masonic Memorial Service at 2:30 pm, Thursday, July 30 all in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford. Burial will follow in Oxford Pine Grove Cemetery.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
