Robert "Bob"
Dubé
Jul 10, 1981 — Apr 4, 2026
Oxford
With heavy hearts we announce that Robert "Bob" Daniel Dubé, 44, of Oxford and formerly Fall River, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026. Born in Halifax, he was a son of a loving mom, Carol (Dow) Dubé and his father, the late Terrance Dubé.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Eve MacDonald, Oxford; brothers, Shawn (Stephanie), Fall River; Daniel (Ashley Shreean), Wellington; stepdaughters, Julia and Holly Gill; special nieces and nephews Chloe, Emma, Jack, Jenni, Olivia, Henry and Vince; and many aunts, uncles, special cousins and friends.
Bob grew up with his loving family in central Halifax, and attended Saint Agnes Middle School and Queen Elizabeth High School. In his younger years he spent summers and weekends at the family cottage in River John, running on the beach and playing endless rounds of golf. He had many days of fun, hunting, fishing and gardening with his parents, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob began his career working for his father's Electrical Company, but at a very young age moved on to become the independent Business owner of Devlin Industries. There he worked alongside Sherry Lisson for many years running a very successful property management company. During his time there he developed a strong business skill set, making great friends along the way both in and out of work. Most recently he worked for Bragg Lumber in Cumberland County, building and shaping a new Golf Course.
In his free time Bob was always up for an adventure. He had a highly competitive spirit which helped him to become proficient in any and every activity he tried. Anyone who has played a round of golf or fished with him can vouch for this. He especially loved golf, bass fishing, wakeboarding, deep powder snowmobiling, skiing, and hikes alongside Eve. He could be found many sunny summer days on the lake, socializing, wakeboarding, and taking kids for neverending tube rides. Or on the golf course, which is no surprise given how damn good he was at it.
Bob had the ability to make everyone feel comfortable, welcome and special. His strong presence was felt, every time he walked into a room. He always seemed to attract strong personalities, and was able to match them in kind with his own strong spirit. His beautiful brown eyes, infectious smile, and beautiful soul will be desperately missed by everyone who knew him.
