Smith, Paulette Isabel - 75, Linden, died July 19, 2023 in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Paulette was an active member of the Amherst Jehovah Witness Congregation. She loved to dance with her husband, Chandler, and often attended dances at the Shinimicas Hall on Sunday afternoon also attended dances at Wentworth Recreation Centre. Most of Paulette's energy was given to the family farm in Linden that she worked together with Chandler and her family. She loved her family dearly. She is survived by her husband, Chandler; children, Janice Smith (David); Gordon (Diane); Glenn (Crystal); Gary (Catherine); Gerald (Karen); grandchildren, Bradley (Jennie); Theresa (Dan); Sarah (Ryan); Rachelle (Steve); Darcy (Morgan); Shaelyn (Josh); Savannah ;Jordon; Tristan; Chastity (Jayson); Robin (Dustin); Sam (Claire); Landon; Madeline; Ethan; Byron; Vanessa (Zachary); Chanel (Drake); Kolby (Brittney); Danielle (Steve); Nicole (Julien); Chelsie (Nick); many cherished loved great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Reid. She was predeceased by her mother, Ethel (Rafters) Smith; stepfather, Russell Smith. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, July 23, with funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, both in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. Donations in Paulette's memory may be made to East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash , or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses or to a charity of your choice.
