Norma Jean (Tattrie) Dillman, passed away at the young age of 86 years in Stellarton, N.S. on August 20, 2025.

Norma was born in Tatamagouche and was a very gifted musician, having competed and winning the North American Championship sponsored by the Boston Conservatory of Music (Piano Division). She played in several bands in her younger years with her father, Lloyd.

Norma worked at several jobs including Stanfields. She attended and graduated as a Master Hairstylist in Truro before opening her own shop.

In leisure time, Norma was very interested in Genealogy even tracing the family history as far back as the 1600's.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd David Tattrie "Fiddling Lloyd" and Mary Ann (Wright) Tattrie; son, Daniel Ryan Dillman. Surviving is her son, David Dillman of Lake Echo; granddaughter, Brittany Dillman of Fredericton, N.B.

Her remains are resting in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Cremation has taken place. Private Burial at a later date in French River Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
