Pettigrew, B. Noreen - 72, Collingwood, passed away January 14th, 2023 in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Noreen, a life long resident of Collingwood Corner, was a daughter of the late Robie and Euda (Taylor) Nix. For many years, Noreen worked at Robb Engineering in Amherst. She also worked with her brother Jack at the Sandpiper. Noreen loved people, dancing and curling, originally at the former Oxford Curling Club. She is survived by her daughter, Tania Wood, Collingwood; son, Tyler Pettigrew (Maya Hamel), Esquimalt, BC; granddaughter, Jessi Wood; brother, Jack Nix, Port Philip; sister, Neva (James) McGregor, Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Joan Hodge, Prescott, ON; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Pettigrew; sister-in-law, Anna Nix. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 17th in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 18th in Collingwood United Church. Donations may be made to Collingwood-Wyvern Cemetery or Alzheimer Society of Canada.
