With broken hearts the family of Nicole Elizabeth Flynn announce her passing on October 13th, 2026 at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital , Tatamagouche after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nikki was born in Tatamagouche, NS on June 24th, 1972 only daughter of the late John and Joyce (Langille) McMahon. Early years were spent in Hanna, Alberta , Kentville, NS, and Wallace, NS. Nikki finished high school in Pugwash and then NSCC later returning to Wallace to live and for many years manage her family’s business, the well known McMahon’s Restaurant. During her years at the restaurant she married the love of her life, Tom, and also took on the role of wife and mother. She is survived by husband Tom, son Ryan and daughter Alexa, both in Wallace, daughter’s, (who she helped raised as her own), Emily (Dartmouth NS) and Jessica (Roy), along with cherished grandson Caden (Dartmouth NS); also survived by brothers David (Barb) McMahon, Bangor , Maine and John; niece Hailey McMahon, Nashua New Hampshire. Nikki will be sadly missed by Tom’s brother, James ( Suzanne, Owen and Maddie) and Tom’s mom Frances. Her constant companion Benji is inconsolable. Nikki’s loving personality was also extended to many friends who she treated like family The family would like to extend thanks to her special friend, Donna Peterson, Dr. Rowe, Dr. Macdonald, Martha Ferguson and the compassionate nursing staff at Lillian Fraser Memorial hospital for the loving care that Nikki received There will be a private graveside service and celebration of life at a later date.
