MacKay, Murray Gordon - 76, Tatamagouche, N.S.

Murray passed away Monday, April 27th, 2026 in Tatamagouche while enjoying the trails he maintained. Murray loved his family, being active, his many hobbies (golf, curling, running, woodworking, fishing), travelling with his family and dear friends, and contributing to his community which he treated with the same care and attention as his own property.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; son, Greg (Loreigh), New Maryland; daughters, Erin (Alan), Tatamagouche, Lisa (Ed), Roblin, Ontario; son-in-law, Bryan Green, Truro, and grandchildren, William and Lawson MacKay, and Rory, Webb and Neve Green. He was predeceased by his father, Freeman; mother, Anita, and brother, Ronnie.

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, May 5th in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche, with Cory Lunn officiating. Reception to follow in the North Shore Recreation Centre Hall. Family Interment will take place in Sunny Brae Cemetery.
