Jamison, Margaret Delores – 90, Pugwash, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025 at East Cumberland Lodge. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late James Daniel and Loretta Evelyn (Laframboise) MacKinnon. Margaret had worked for National Sea, the Co-op, as a hairdresser and as the village clerk. She was a very active volunteer and recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal; Margaret was a member of Wesley St. Matthew United Church; a former member of the board of the Sunset Community, East Cumberland Lodge and former chairperson of the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She had served on many other committees as well but are too numerous to mention. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Jamison; daughters, Teresa (Kevin) Huston, Gulf Shore; Irene (James) Steele, Amherst; step daughter, Arlene Jamison, Guelph, ON; grandchildren; Steven (Andrew) Huston, Adam (Marina) Huston, Melissa (Ian) Walcott, Jamie (David) Hunter  Brandon (Sarah) Steele, Justin (Joan) Raedts great-grandchildren; Liam Walcott, Abby Walcott, Ryan Walcott, Cayleigh Huston, Hanna Huston, Calvin Hunter;  sister, Diane Reid, Orillia, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by siblings, Rose Junkert, Robert McKinnon, Loretta D'Angelo, Mary Olson, Ronald MacKinnon and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Mundle's Funeral Home, 10235 Durham St., Pugwash. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
