Linda Geraldine Langille
1954 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Geraldine Langille, age 71, on November 11, 2025, at Aberdeen Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Linda was raised in Malagash until she graduated and went on to attend business college. She later built her life and work in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

Linda was the daughter of the late Gerald and Donelda Langille of Malagash, NS.

She was employed at Michelin for 36 years, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm personality.

Linda had a passion for crafting and was often seen at local craft events, yard sales and was known for having her own yard sales and clothing swaps. She loved gardening, hosting family gatherings, and traveling, especially her many memorable trips to Cuba. Above all, Linda cherished time spent with her family and friends and never missed an opportunity to bring people together.

Linda enjoyed every year making her strawberry jam and her mustard pickles. She took the time with her granddaughter even during her illness to ensure her legacy lived on.

Linda is survived by her loving partner John Roach; her children Mark Langille (Lisa), Michael Langille (Paige), and Jody Crowther (Jamie); brothers David (Deneen), Byron (Myrtle), and Andrew (Shelly); sisters Gayle (Danny), Faye, and Laura (Ron); grandchildren Avery, Harley, Jaxon, Sophia, Jacob, Jake, Faith, Brandon, Briea, and Morgan; and great-grandson Noah.

She was predeceased by her husband Brent Langille; grandparents Roy and Daisy Langille; parents Gerald and Donelda Langille; brothers Robert and Glen Langille; sister Shirley; and brother-in-law Ernie MacDonald.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the palliative care nurses and doctors at Aberdeen Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Special thanks are also extended to Faye Langille and dear friend Darlene MacNeil for their unwavering love and support during Linda's illness.

Donations in Linda's memory may be made to CARMA Cat Rescue, Pictou County.
