It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Duncan Marshall on September 25, 2026, at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche, surrounded by his loving family and close friends, after a courageous nine-year battle with cancer.
Larry is predeceased by his parents, Duncan and Iola (Staples) Marshall of Earltown. Larry was also predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Leona (Clarence) Crowe; his brother, Ronald Marshall; and his grandson, Deven Desjardins.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Marshall; his daughter, Alisha (Rick) Hunsley; granddaughter, Trinity Desjardins; and stepchildren, Cody Ross, Rebekka Fraser, and Jarred Fraser. Larry is also survived by his brother, Bob (Shirley) Marshall; his sister, Marlene (Bob) Stewart; and his sister-in-law, Sharlene Marshall, along with numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Larry loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, anything outdoors, but most of all, he loved working in his garage on vehicles and helping others out with anything that he could.
A celebration of life for Larry will be held Sunday, October 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Earltown Community Hall. All are welcome. A potluck lunch will be provided.
Interment will take place at a later date in Earltown Village Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
