It is with incredibly heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen Marie Tattrie of Tatamagouche. Born January 26, 1951, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late Laura and Bernie Tattrie.

Mom/Nanny, was truly one of a kind, the heart of her family and a friend to everyone who crossed her path. For forty years she ran the local restaurant you all know and love, where her laughter could be heard from the kitchen and her kindness welcomed everyone who came through the door.

She was the loving life partner of the late Allan Buckler, and together they built a home of love and laughter for their two wonderful children, Vicky Patriquin (Trevor) and Todd Tattrie (Lora) whom she will be dearly missed by. Also missing her will be her adored grandchildren, Cody (Sarah), Abby (Drew), Miley (Hunter), Rylan, and Veronica ; her siblings, Betty (Lloyd), Larry (Debbie), Kim, Sandra (Charlie); sister in law, Cheryl, and her brother in law, Bob, as well as countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who all held a special place in her heart.

Waiting at heaven's gates to welcome her with open arms is her partner Allan; her son in law, Chris; parents, Laura and Bernie; siblings, Diane, Kevin, baby, Adelaide, and her sister in law, Alma. When she wasn't hard at work, Kathleen was often found shopping, enjoying coffee with her friends at Robins, watching her soaps, cheering from the stands at hockey games, or going on adventures with her best friend, Darrell. She had a talent for creating things with her hands and her heart, whether it was knitting something cozy, a sparkling diamond painting, or painting her bird houses.

Kathleen's generosity, humour, and larger than life spirit made her impossible to forget. She was the funniest and loudest person in any room, and also the one to make any room feel like home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12 from 6-8 p.m. in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche with Pastor Larry Tattrie officiating. Reception will follow at the Tatamagouche Legion Br. 64.

Donations in Kathleen's memory may be made to the Tatamagouche Oddfellow's Christmas Index Programme or to Neighbours Helping Neighbours Food Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cory Lunn at Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
