Lawless, John – 74, Wallace Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Sylvester and Florence (Parsley) Lawless. John had worked for the Department of National Defense, Naval Dockyard, Halifax; the Pugwash Salt Mine and along with his wife Joanne owned and operated a beef farmin Wallace Bay. He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Weatherby) Lawless; daughter, Amy (Kenny) Patriquin, Balmoral, sons, Peter (Tiffany Lawless and Andrew (Rebecca) Lawless, all of Oxford, grandchildren, Chesley, Megan, Darcy, Nicholas, Kenliegh, Ava and Gabe, great granddaughters, Lina, Marlee and Maise; sisters,   Florence (Herb) MacKenzie, St. Catharines, ON., Joan Lawless, Winnipeg, MB., Viola Laird, Pugwash, brother, Denis (Wanda) Lawless, Wallace Bay; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with John's request there will be no services held. Donations in memory may be made to St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Wallace.
