Oct 18, 1935 — Mar 22, 2026
Tatamagouche
Irene Vincent (nee Snow) - passed peacefully in Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche in her 91st year on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Irene opened her own Travel Agency in the 1970's, which allowed her and her husband, Jack to travel and take cruises which they loved. When Jack retired from the Police Department and Irene sold the travel agency, they were "Snowbirds" in Florida and cottage lovers in northern Ontario, then Irene moved back to Nova Scotia (where she was born) in 2020.
Irene leaves behind her daughters, Susan (Richard), and Debbie (Brian), who will miss her terribly. Irene was a beloved grandmother to Ryan (Tiffany), Andrew (Stephanie), Julia (Leonard), Shannon (Matthew), and Sarah (Joseph). Irene was also a very special great grandmother to Jacob, Cameron, Noah, Samantha, Theodore, Blake, Emmet, and Remy. She will be also be sadly missed by her cousin Raymond.
Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack (in 2015); her parents Roy and Mabel; brothers, Russell and Roy Jr.; and sisters Olive and Eva.
Irene spent her final year at Willow Lodge where she was given exceptional care and love. We couldn't be more grateful to the staff there who were incredible, and Dr. Copp for all of his wonderful care during her years back in Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Irene will be buried together with her husband, Jack next to her parents in Clyde River, Shelburne County, where she was born and raised.
She is singing and playing guitar in Heaven now.
