Rushton, Gregory M. - Port Howe, better known to his friends as "Spanky".

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory M. Rushton who passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 26, 2022, with his family by his side at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Greg was born to parents Evelyn W. Mason and Herbert W. Rushton of Springhill on February 22, 1954. He is survived by his sister, Ethel Rushton and brother Sim Rushton (Carolyn), along with one niece, three nephews, several great nieces, nephews and many cousins. After returning home from working in Victoria B.C. Greg took up residence at Heathers Beach and worked for Parks Canada from where he retired. The family wish to thank close friends, the VON staff, and the Palliative Care Team for taking care of him during his time of need. Donations in memory may be made to Cumberland County Palliative Care. At Greg's request there will no public visitation.
