Born De­cem­ber 18, 1944, age 77, has passed away on July 28, 2022, in North Cum­ber­land Hos­pi­tal (Pug­wash). He was the son of James Pye Sr. and Flo­rence Pye (Han­ra­han). Gor­don had many va­ri­eties of jobs. He was a mem­ber of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. He is sur­vived by son, Craig Pye of Har­ri­ets­field; three daugh­ters, Patty White (Pye) of Yarmouth; Beat­rice Pye, and Amber Pye of Pug­wash; sis­ter, Theresa Gray (Pye), Or­angeville On­t.; eight grand­chil­dren and seven great-grand­chil­dren. He was pre­de­ceased by ten broth­ers; and one sis­ter. Cre­ma­tion has taken place under the care of Mun­dle's Fu­neral Home. There will be a cel­e­bra­tion of life in Pug­wash at a later date.
