King, George Ernest 95, Pugwash, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. George had spent his life working as an executive with the Royal Bank of Canada. He enjoyed his retirement and was a founding member of the Northumberland Curling Club. Surviving are his son, Stephen (Lisa) King, London, ON; daughter, SueSan King (Simon), Halifax; grandchildren, Lexie, Nicholas and Sophie; brother, MacKenzie (Loudelle) King, USA; step-son, Gerald MacDonald (Marlys Parker), Calgary; step-daughter, Carol (Gary) Mundle, Pugwash Point; step-daughter-in-law, Kemila Isenor, Port Howe; special grandson, Korri (Charlee) MacDonald; special great-granddaughter, Parker MacDonald; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, F. Elaine (Ellis) MacDonald; several siblings; step-sons, Brian and George MacDonald; step-grandchild, Ashlea MacDonald. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
