Meagher, Gary William - 85, Springhill. It is with sadness that the family of Gary William Meagher announce his passing on January 6th, 2026 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late William and Florence (Patriquin) Meagher. Gary studied theology at Acadia University and later administered at a small church in Cold Brook. He loved to share his faith in God, one of his biggest accomplishments being his three children, Keith, Denise and Sean sharing in his belief knowing how important God is to him. He is survived by his sons, Keith (Dorothy) and Sean; daughter, Denise (Terry) Crowe; grandchildren, Kellen (Jennifer), Aaron, Seth (Jenn), Lydia, Leah (Blake), Ethan (Ali), Sarah, Juline and Jake; great-grandchildren, Nalia, Lyla, Addy, Luke, Andrew, Kemper and Arwyn; brothers, Charles Meagher, Rob (Deana) O'Hanley; loving partner, Eunice Chaulk and her daughter, Jeaneva (Ryan) Teek; her sons, Allan (Melissa) and Fred (Melanie); and her family. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Gayle Turnbull; sister, Gail O'Brien. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium.
