Conway, Gary Francis – 81, Pugwash, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Ferguson's Cove, Halifax County, he was a son of the late Louis and Beatrice (Wollard) Conway. Gary was a mechanic by trade but declining health forced  him to retire at a young age. He enjoyed doing the odd mechanical job for family or friends, watching wrestling, deep sea fishing and just sitting and having a beer. Surviving are his wife, Madelyn (Boudreau) Conway; daughter, Tammy (Paul) McDonald, Pugwash; son, Scott Conway, Ferguson's Cove; adopted son, Glen Conway, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Kelsey (Dan), Cody (Kayla), Sarah; great grandson, Cayden; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Helena (Gerald) Saxton; special friend, Glen Goodman. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Dale and his wife Louise. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory in memory may be made to any animal shelter.
