Florence Ritchie ARSENEAULT, R.N. (nee MacPherson) - Born in Springhill, NS, March 5, 1928, passed away at Northumberland Hall, Amherst, NS on December 19, 2023. Florence was a loving mother to her four children, two sons; Harry, Val David, QC,  and Donald (Linda Caldwell) Airdrie, AB, and two daughters; Joscelyn (Richard LeBlanc) Calgary, AB, and Nancy (Ian MacDonald) Airdrie, AB. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, MaryDee MacPherson of Springhill, NS.  Her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Donald Rupert Arseneault, passed away September 5, 1998 in Pugwash, NS. Florence trained for nursing in All Saints hospital, Springhill and worked in Montreal, QC as a registered nurse for 30 years. She enjoyed travelling, walking, needlepoint, spending time with her family and working as a volunteer. The family wish to thank the dedicated staff at Northumberland Hall, Shannex for their excellent care of our mom. A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Rev. Connie McNamara officiating.
