Armo ur, Clayton Ernest "Ernie" - 94, Oxford, passed away June 15th, 2025 in North Cumberland Health Care Centre, Pugwash. Born in Pugwash, he was a son of the late Clayton and Eliza (Agnew) Armour. Ernie worked his whole life in construction, whether building bridges, steel buildings or houses. After retirement, he constructed greenhouses, sheds and other projects. Ernie was a lifetime member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #36, Oxford. He loved spending time with his family. Ernie will be sadly missed by his family and love of his life of 74 years, Delena. He is survived by his wife, the former Delena Williams; daughters, Judy (John) Reid and Wendy Hicks; daughter-in-law, Shirley Armour; grandchildren, Julie, BJ (Andrea), Kelly (Bill), Andrew (Emma), Colby and Brody; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Brandon, Ethan, Ryan and Sabrina; four great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Wayne; great-grandson, Tony; brothers, Wally and Bill; sister, Irene Brown. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 28 at 11 am in Birch Grove Cemetery.
