Peers, E. Elinor – 68, Pugwash, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash, with her family by her side. Born in Springhill she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Vida (Mooring) Matheson. Elinor is survived by her partner of over 20 years, Doug Chase; son, Rod (Julie) O'Brien, Ottawa; siblings, Edwin (Dyan) Matheson, Sackville, June (Danny) Wood, River Philip, Gail Matheson, Oxford; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Charlie Peers;  siblings, Ritchie Matheson, Bruce Matheson and Janice Martin. There will be no services at this time.
