Tuttle, Doreen Ethel – 92, Middleboro, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026 at East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born in Middleboro she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lola (Gould) Vincent. Doreen had spent most of her life in Middleboro where she had raised her six children. She also worked at East Cumberland Lodge from 1976 – 1985. Doreen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children, Percy (Shelley) Tuttle and Ian (Ruth) Tuttle, all of Middleboro, Brenda Porter, Truro, Karen (Martyn) Lund, Richmond, Nancy (Stephen) McWilliam, Moncton; grandchildren, Melanie Tuttle, Aaron Tuttle (Crystal), Courtney Tuttle (Chris), Timothy Tuttle (Katherine), Stephanie Tuttle, Hannah Tuttle, Marc Porter, Katelyn Porter, Colin Lund, Emily Gushue (Joe), Andrew Lund (Jordyn), Patrick McWilliam, Gillian McWilliam; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Melbourne Tuttle; son Bernard Tuttle; grandson, Matthew Tuttle; brothers, Elmer and Arnold Vincent. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the Lodge staff to their mother. Donations in memory may be made to the East Cumberland Lodge.
