Blair, Donald Eugene - 89, River Philip, passed away on August 4, 2025 in High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Leonard and Ruby (Mills) Blair. Most of his working career, Donnie worked for CN at various locations. He lived in Saint John, NB for many years before settling back in River Philip in 1992. He was a big part of the local Kidney Foundation, helping to fundraise for the Boxing Day breakfasts and golf tournaments. He was an avid hunter and could spend hours talking about hunting. Family was everything to Donnie. He is survived by sister, Marie Kidd; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Edythe; daughter, Linda Woodley; brothers, Leon, Claire, Garnet and Doug; sisters, Pearl and Nita. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Friday, August 8 in River Philip United Cemetery. All are welcome.
