Comeau, Denise – 50, Halifax, it is with great sadness that we, the family of Denise, announce her sudden passing at home on May 12, 2023. Born in Toronto she was a daughter of Margaret Comeau, Truro and Carl Alvarez, Toronto. Besides her parents she is survived by her son, Dion; brothers, Joseph "Joey" and Nicholas "Nick"; half brother and sister, Craig and Rhianna Alvarez, all of Ontario. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Pugwash. Burial in St. Thomas More Catholic Cemetery with a reception to follow in the church hall. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
