Darlene Frances Laird -66, Tatamagouche, passed away April 1, 2023 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Miller) Morrison.

She is survived by her loving partner, Allan Jarvis, Tatamagouche; sisters, Sharon (Jimmy Burris), Pleasant Valley, Barbara Terry, Debert; step sister, Edith (Darrell) Lynds, Belmont; step brother, Benny (Wendy) Johnson, Kemptown; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (late Rollie Forbes), Bible Hill; nieces, Margaret Hobson, Joan Terry, Dianne (Leonard) MacBurnie. She was predeceased by daughter, Sharlene Lake; husband, Jack Laird; brother, Tommy Morrison; sister, Sheila Hobson; brother-in-law, Walter Terry; step father, George Johnson.

A Graveside Service will be held in Fox Harbour Cemetery on Wednesday, May 3 at 1pm. Rev. Connie McNamara will be officiating the service.
