Shubert, Curtis Allen - 65, Amherst, formerly of Oxford, passed away Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, with his family by his side. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Charles and Jean (Welsh) Shubert. Curtis worked at A&W for many years. Curtis liked going for drives and spending time with his wife, Doreen. Survived by his wife, Doreen; brothers, Darrell, Bobby, Johnny; sisters, Sheryl (Terry Cormier); Sandra Shubert (Andrew Farrell); stepdaughters, Chrissy (Chris), Natasha and Tara grandchildren, Cierra, Jessica and Jordan; brother-in-law, Jim (Betty Anne); sisters-in-law, Bev (John); Shirley (Buddy); Gloria (Fred); JoAnn; Lil. Predeceased by his son, Chris. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home and Crematorium. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 13 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
