Cora Shirley Ferdinand - 68, Pugwash, passed away peacefully on Octoer 15, 2026, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. surrounded by her family. Born March 31, 1958, to James and Margaret Ferdinand, Cora was the 6th child of 13. She had attended Pugwash District High School. Cora's partner of 40 plus years, Henry White,  helped her raise her four children. She loved games night with her sisters and the annual christmas parties with family and friends. Cora is survived by children, Maryann, Shirley, Jay and Amanda; siblings, Janie, Dale, Florence, Barbara, Shawn, Cindy and Carl; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Henry White; brothers, Johnny, Vernon and Jimmy; sisters, Greata and Debbie. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration life be held at a later date.
