Donkin, Cora Hazel – 68, Pugwash, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022, at her home with the Sunset Community. Born in Pugwash she was a daughter of the late Harold Edward and Reta Louise (Smith) Brander. Cora had worked as an office worker in Amherst and prior to her illness was employed with the department of Indian Affairs. She is survived by her daughter, Hayley Pye and grandson Jaxon Pye, both of Cape Breton; sister, Marie (John "Jack") MacKay, brother, Edward "Ed" (Linda) Brander, all of St Catharine's, Ont.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donations in memory may be made to the Sunset Community, the Canadian Cancer Society or Hillside Cemetery, Northport.
