Palmer, Casey Graham - 56, Brooklyn, Hants County, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late William "Bill" and J. Alma (Hovey) Palmer. Casey was an amazing husband, father, foster parent and brother. He always made the effort to get to know anyone and everyone that came across his path. Learning their stories and sharing his. He had a silent strength that was admired by his family. He had many hobbies, such as reading the many books in his collection and was an avid sports fan. Watching sports of his favourites like the Miami Dolphins, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays, among others. He loved puzzles such as Professor Layton and building any Lego he could get his hands on. He also loved taking photos of nature. Casey loved traveling with his many family trips to Cuba as well as recently completing his lifelong goal of traveling to Germany. Casey is survived by his wife, Gina; sons, Samuel (Monica), Lower Sackville; Zachary (Mayleigh), Brooklyn; Braeden, Acadia University; brothers, William "Bun", Lincoln, NB; John (Cathy), Mabou; Peter (Heather), Wentworth; Morgan (Debbie), Wentworth. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Homes & Crematorium. A time to celebrate Casey's life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, February 24 in the Brooklyn Civic Centre, 995 Hwy 215, Brooklyn.
