Fisher, Barbara Ann (Beaumont) - 72, Amherst Head, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Oxford, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Vera (Terris) Beaumont. Barb followed in her family's tradition and worked the rural route mail delivery for Canada Post for many years. She loved her children, grandchildren, animals of all types, especially her horses and dogs. Barb enjoyed knitting and being in nature including going for walks in the woods. She is survived by sons, Jacob (Lacey), Shinimicas; Jaeden, Amherst; daughters, Christa (Dean) Shipley, Lower Shinimicas; Teesha (Damien), Amherst Head; grandchildren, Alisha, Izea, Parker, Summer, Adelynn, Grace, Trexstin and Intagra; great-grandchildren; brother, Robert, Mount Pleasant; sisters, Lynda (Ernie) MacCulloch, Dartmouth; Sharon Beaumont, Stewiacke. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ray Stevens; Donald Fisher; Mike Osborne; brothers, Richard "Dick" and Ronald. Arrangements are under the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930). A service will be held at a later date.
