Selkirk, Audrey Anne - 86, Oxford, passed away on December 13th, 2025 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Renovia (Reese) Newman.

In her early years, she worked for NB Tel. After meeting her husband, Bruce, they moved to Belleville Ontario, where she worked for the Ontario Retail Sales Tax Department. She was a fantastic seamstress, making many alterations, cummerbunds and ties in Air Force tartan, and prom dresses over the years. She was a former member of Oxford Area Lionettes, organizing the annual Christmas Craft Show. Audrey was a dedicated member of Trinity United Church and UCW. Audrey was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend to many.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bruce; granddaughter, Erin Desborough; son-in-law, Mark (Michelle) Desborough; stepdaughter, Susan (Edward) Top; step-grandchildren, Natalie (Derek) Zanstra; Melissa (Kerry) Saliga; Alex Top; 5 step-great-grandchildren; special cousin, Heather Duncan; special niece, Crystal (James) MacEwen; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Cathie Desborough; brother, Allan Newman.

Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home and Crematorium. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, followed by funeral service at 2 pm on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 in Trinity United Church, Oxford. Donations may be made to Canadian Red Cross , Trinity United Church or Oxford Community Centre.
