Aubrey Keith Woodworth, age 89, passed away peacefully at the Elk Court Nursing Home in Brookfield, NS on October 3, 2026. Aubrey was a carpenter by trade but also a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed dancing, music, hunting and fishing, Sunday drives (but not necessarily on a Sunday), playing cards, and was an animal lover. He was the son of Roland and Pearl (Bugley) Woodworth, and is survived by his companion/partner Evelyn Gill, daughter Carol (Steven) Carter, daughter Donna Woodworth, son Darren (Viviana) Woodworth, son Eric Woodworth, brother Victor Woodworth, sister Vivian (Darrell) Myatt, sister Joyce (Craig) Colter, brother Warren (Bertha) Woodworth, granddaughter Serena Carter, grandson Frank Woodworth, and granddaughter Eliana Woodworth. He was predeceased by his brother Carl Woodworth, his sister Evelyn Chapman, and his twin sister Audrey Morrison. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Thursday, October 22 at MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford.
