Stewart, Aubrey Victor - 90, Oxford, passed away September 11th, 2022 in Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in South Victoria, he was a son of the late Ottie and Leona (Jollymore) Stewart. Aubrey worked at Cobequid Lumber Mill for years operating the debarker until the mill closed. He enjoyed nature and being outdoors. He loved a good game of crib with friends, his old music and the simple life. He is survived by his brother, Hilton; sisters, Annie Beaumont, Agnes (Curry) Purdy; Sheila (David) Stiles; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Joe (Wendy) Chapman. He was predeceased by his wife, Glenna Skidmore; son, Aubrey; infant son, David Melvin; brothers, James and Guy; sisters, Doris Perrin and Alice Mayne. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, September 16, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., both in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium.
