Arthur Warren Guest Jr., 69, of Tatamougouche, passed away on July 5, 2022 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. He was in the loving arms of his girls and son in law, Paul and has been delivered to Heaven to be with his parents. Arthur was born in Pugwash, and was the son of the late Arthur and Jeanetta (Zwicker) Guest.

He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Guest (Paul Stuart) and grandson Reece Stuart, Jennifer Gaudet (Robbie Inness) and grandchildren Kayla Macleod, Owen Lockwood and Nate and Caden Inness; son, Wendell Argyle and granddaughters Renee and Katherine Banfield.

Arthur also has many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Brothers, Kenneth Guest, John Guest, Russell Guest, William Guest; sisters, Idella Hefferman, Barbara Smith, Doris Guest, Fydella Guest and Bernice Fanning.

Arthur was referred to as "wink" or "winky" since an early age.  He was a jack of all trades.  He spent his time working hard to support his family and always had his hands busy fixing old cars or making things. He made a lot of "Guest Originals" including his food creations which always brought smiles.  He was brilliant at remembering any detail, number or date you would give him.  Anyone who knew wink could tell you that he was a funny guy.  His sense of humour provided a lot of laughs over the years to friends, family and co-workers.  In his younger years he worked on the ice breaker ships.  Before he retired you could find him at Eastern Building Supplies, Nauss Brothers and Kent in Bridgewater.  He relocated from Bridgewater to Tatamagouche, where he worked at the Tim Hortons Children's Camp before retiring.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 11 at 2pm in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche with Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Family interment will follow in Monument Hill Cemetery, Richmond.

Donations may be made to Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors who cared for him along with his sister Idella Hefferman, who took care of him for the last several years.  Arthur and his family appreciate you all more than you know.
