Angevine, Arlene Juanita - 80, Oxford, passed away September 15th, 2021 in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born in Pugwash, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Pipes) Allen, beloved wife of the late Cyril Angevine. Arlene worked as a hairdresser for a number of years, she then later worked at Standfields in Oxford until retirement. Arlene's greatest joy of all was her family. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arlene enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles, seek a words, and couldn't wait until Saturday night for the hoedown. She is survived by sons, Brent (Denise), Collingwood; Todd (Ashley), Lower Sackville; daughters, Angela (Mike) Griffin, Wyvern; Cheryl (Darren) Rushton, New Annan; grandchildren, Elyse, Travis, Justine, Jordan, Taylor, Dani and Haley; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Avery. She was predeceased by her husband, Cyril; brother, Chandler; sister, Ruth. Special thanks and appreciation over the past few years to VON Cumberland and to all the special care mom received at East Cumberland Lodge. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home and Crematorium.
