Johnson, Annie I. – 73, Pugwash, passed away at home on Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Charlottetown, PE, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Frances J. (Auld) Kennedy. Annie had been employed as an Educational Assistant with the South Pugwash Elementary School and later the Cyrus Eaton Elementary School, retiring after 35 years. Her family was her life. She especially loved hearing from and being around her grandchildren. Annie is survived by her children, Charles (Leota) Johnson, Ancaster, ON, Jeannette (Adam) Davies, Pugwash, Shawn (Becky) Johnson, Oxford,; grandchildren, Shelby Johnson, Rhys Davies, Paige Johnson, Chase Johnson; close friend, Sheldon MacIntyre, Malagash; siblings, Violet MacDonald, Charlottetown, PE, John (Darlene) Kennedy, Cambridge, ON, Lorrie Browne, Angevine Lake, Lewie Kennedy, Dartmouth, Roger (Ruthanne) Kennedy, Lower Sackville; many nieces and nephews . Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Carl A. Johnson; brothers-in-law, Kenneth MacDonald and Robert Browne; niece, Cheryl MacDonald.  There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.The family would like to especially thank Martha Ferguson, Dr. Mueller and the VON nurses for all the care and support given Annie these past few months.
